| A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library. This flaw can be triggered when file streams are piped into bsdtar, potentially allowing for reading past the end of the file. This out-of-bounds read can lead to unintended consequences, including unpredictable program behavior, memory corruption, or a denial-of-service condition. | |||||
| CVE-2025-7519 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2025-08-11 | N/A | 6.7 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in polkit. When processing an XML policy with 32 or more nested elements in depth, an out-of-bounds write can be triggered. This issue can lead to a crash or other unexpected behavior, and arbitrary code execution is not discarded. To exploit this flaw, a high-privilege account is needed as it's required to place the malicious policy file properly. | |||||
| CVE-2024-1132 | 1 Redhat | 10 Build Of Keycloak, Jboss Middleware Text-only Advisories, Keycloak and 7 more | 2025-06-30 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in Keycloak, where it does not properly validate URLs included in a redirect. This issue could allow an attacker to construct a malicious request to bypass validation and access other URLs and sensitive information within the domain or conduct further attacks. This flaw affects any client that utilizes a wildcard in the Valid Redirect URIs field, and requires user interaction within the malicious URL. | |||||
| CVE-2024-1635 | 2 Netapp, Redhat | 9 Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Workflow Automation, Fuse and 6 more | 2025-06-25 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
| A vulnerability was found in Undertow. This vulnerability impacts a server that supports the wildfly-http-client protocol. Whenever a malicious user opens and closes a connection with the HTTP port of the server and then closes the connection immediately, the server will end with both memory and open file limits exhausted at some point, depending on the amount of memory available. At HTTP upgrade to remoting, the WriteTimeoutStreamSinkConduit leaks connections if RemotingConnection is closed by Remoting ServerConnectionOpenListener. Because the remoting connection originates in Undertow as part of the HTTP upgrade, there is an external layer to the remoting connection. This connection is unaware of the outermost layer when closing the connection during the connection opening procedure. Hence, the Undertow WriteTimeoutStreamSinkConduit is not notified of the closed connection in this scenario. Because WriteTimeoutStreamSinkConduit creates a timeout task, the whole dependency tree leaks via that task, which is added to XNIO WorkerThread. So, the workerThread points to the Undertow conduit, which contains the connections and causes the leak. | |||||
| CVE-2024-5154 | 2 Kubernetes, Redhat | 3 Cri-o, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2025-06-23 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in cri-o. A malicious container can create a symbolic link to arbitrary files on the host via directory traversal (“../“). This flaw allows the container to read and write to arbitrary files on the host system. | |||||
| CVE-2022-2989 | 2 Podman Project, Redhat | 3 Podman, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2025-06-05 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| An incorrect handling of the supplementary groups in the Podman container engine might lead to the sensitive information disclosure or possible data modification if an attacker has direct access to the affected container where supplementary groups are used to set access permissions and is able to execute a binary code in that container. | |||||
| CVE-2022-42442 | 2 Ibm, Redhat | 2 Robotic Process Automation For Cloud Pak, Openshift Container Platform | 2025-05-05 | N/A | 3.3 LOW |

| CVE-2024-0406 | 2 Mholt, Redhat | 3 Archiver, Advanced Cluster Security, Openshift Container Platform | 2025-04-25 | N/A | 6.1 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was discovered in the mholt/archiver package. This flaw allows an attacker to create a specially crafted tar file, which, when unpacked, may allow access to restricted files or directories. This issue can allow the creation or overwriting of files with the user's or application's privileges using the library. | |||||
| CVE-2023-1668 | 3 Cloudbase, Debian, Redhat | 7 Open Vswitch, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2025-04-23 | N/A | 8.2 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in openvswitch (OVS). When processing an IP packet with protocol 0, OVS will install the datapath flow without the action modifying the IP header. This issue results (for both kernel and userspace datapath) in installing a datapath flow matching all IP protocols (nw_proto is wildcarded) for this flow, but with an incorrect action, possibly causing incorrect handling of other IP packets with a != 0 IP protocol that matches this dp flow. | |||||
| CVE-2015-8103 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 2 Jenkins, Openshift Container Platform | 2025-04-12 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| The Jenkins CLI subsystem in Jenkins before 1.638 and LTS before 1.625.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted serialized Java object, related to a problematic webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/lib/commons-collections-*.jar file and the "Groovy variant in 'ysoserial'". | |||||
| CVE-2024-1725 | 1 Redhat | 5 Openshift Container Platform, Openshift Container Platform For Arm64, Openshift Container Platform For Ibm Z and 2 more | 2025-03-26 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the kubevirt-csi component of OpenShift Virtualization's Hosted Control Plane (HCP). This issue could allow an authenticated attacker to gain access to the root HCP worker node's volume by creating a custom Persistent Volume that matches the name of a worker node. | |||||
| CVE-2025-0678 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 3 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2025-03-25 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in grub2. When reading data from a squash4 filesystem, grub's squash4 fs module uses user-controlled parameters from the filesystem geometry to determine the internal buffer size, however, it improperly checks for integer overflows. A maliciously crafted filesystem may lead some of those buffer size calculations to overflow, causing it to perform a grub_malloc() operation with a smaller size than expected. As a result, the direct_read() will perform a heap based out-of-bounds write during data reading. This flaw may be leveraged to corrupt grub's internal critical data and may result in arbitrary code execution, by-passing secure boot protections. | |||||
| CVE-2024-45782 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 3 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2025-03-25 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in the HFS filesystem. When reading an HFS volume's name at grub_fs_mount(), the HFS filesystem driver performs a strcpy() using the user-provided volume name as input without properly validating the volume name's length. This issue may read to a heap-based out-of-bounds writer, impacting grub's sensitive data integrity and eventually leading to a secure boot protection bypass. | |||||
| CVE-2023-0056 | 3 Fedoraproject, Haproxy, Redhat | 10 Extra Packages For Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Haproxy and 7 more | 2025-02-25 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| An uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability was discovered in HAProxy which could crash the service. This issue could allow an authenticated remote attacker to run a specially crafted malicious server in an OpenShift cluster. The biggest impact is to availability. | |||||
| CVE-2024-50311 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift Container Platform | 2025-02-25 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A denial of service (DoS) vulnerability was found in OpenShift. This flaw allows attackers to exploit the GraphQL batching functionality. The vulnerability arises when multiple queries can be sent within a single request, enabling an attacker to submit a request containing thousands of aliases in one query. This issue causes excessive resource consumption, leading to application unavailability for legitimate users. | |||||
| CVE-2024-50312 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift Container Platform | 2025-01-15 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| A vulnerability was found in GraphQL due to improper access controls on the GraphQL introspection query. This flaw allows unauthorized users to retrieve a comprehensive list of available queries and mutations. Exposure to this flaw increases the attack surface, as it can facilitate the discovery of flaws or errors specific to the application's GraphQL implementation. | |||||
| CVE-2019-9515 | 12 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 9 more | 24 Traffic Server, Mac Os X, Swiftnio and 21 more | 2025-01-14 | 7.8 HIGH | 7.5 HIGH |
| Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to a settings flood, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker sends a stream of SETTINGS frames to the peer. Since the RFC requires that the peer reply with one acknowledgement per SETTINGS frame, an empty SETTINGS frame is almost equivalent in behavior to a ping. Depending on how efficiently this data is queued, this can consume excess CPU, memory, or both. | |||||
| CVE-2019-9514 | 13 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 10 more | 30 Traffic Server, Mac Os X, Swiftnio and 27 more | 2025-01-14 | 7.8 HIGH | 7.5 HIGH |
| Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to a reset flood, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker opens a number of streams and sends an invalid request over each stream that should solicit a stream of RST_STREAM frames from the peer. Depending on how the peer queues the RST_STREAM frames, this can consume excess memory, CPU, or both. | |||||
| CVE-2023-2253 | 1 Redhat | 3 Openshift Api For Data Protection, Openshift Container Platform, Openshift Developer Tools And Services | 2025-01-07 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in the `/v2/_catalog` endpoint in distribution/distribution, which accepts a parameter to control the maximum number of records returned (query string: `n`). This vulnerability allows a malicious user to submit an unreasonably large value for `n,` causing the allocation of a massive string array, possibly causing a denial of service through excessive use of memory. | |||||
| CVE-2024-3056 | 3 Fedoraproject, Podman Project, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Podman, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2024-12-27 | N/A | 7.7 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in Podman. This issue may allow an attacker to create a specially crafted container that, when configured to share the same IPC with at least one other container, can create a large number of IPC resources in /dev/shm. The malicious container will continue to exhaust resources until it is out-of-memory (OOM) killed. While the malicious container's cgroup will be removed, the IPC resources it created are not. Those resources are tied to the IPC namespace that will not be removed until all containers using it are stopped, and one non-malicious container is holding the namespace open. The malicious container is restarted, either automatically or by attacker control, repeating the process and increasing the amount of memory consumed. With a container configured to restart always, such as `podman run --restart=always`, this can result in a memory-based denial of service of the system. | |||||
